17.2+ HH
Premium Foal
Foaled 2006
Oldenburg Registry North America

Corsa all’Oro stands over 17.2 hands, combining scale and presence with the structural correctness demanded by modern sport.

Registered with the Oldenburg Registry North America and designated a Premium Foal, her pedigree unites Hanoverian refinement through Contucci with Holsteiner power through Riverman — a combination long respected across elite dressage, jumping, and three-day eventing.

This is not a discipline-specific pedigree.

It is a sporthorse one.

The Corsa Legacy

Pedigree & Performance Depth

Sire: Contucci (Caprimond–Lungau)
Contucci was a cornerstone of North American sporthorse breeding and a consistent Top 10 USEF Dressage Sire. He earned both the titles of USEF Dressage Breeding Sire of the Year and USEF Dressage Sire of the Year, and won the dressage portion of his 100-Day Test with an exceptional 147.11 points.

His offspring have succeeded from in-hand champions to licensed stallions and Grand Prix competitors. Known for elasticity, classical balance, and rideability, the Caprimond line contributes trainability, biomechanical correctness, and mental composure demanded at upper levels.

Through Contucci, Corsa carries proven Grand Prix dressage influence.

Dam Line: Riverman (Holsteiner Stamm 4)
Riverman descends from the influential Holsteiner Stamm 4 and carries the blood of Landgraf, Calypso II, and Cor de la Bryère — pillars of international jumping sport.

Reserve Champion at his Holsteiner licensing with 9’s for type and brilliance, Riverman went on to earn distinction as USEF Eventing Sire of the Year (2009 & 2010). His progeny include Grand Prix jumpers and dressage horses, Advanced level eventers, and top show hunters.

Preservation & Strategic Development

The Corsa Legacy branch is being developed to preserve and strengthen her Warmblood foundation.

Select pairings with elite Warmblood stallions are chosen to:

Maintain structural integrity
Refine elasticity and scope
Protect rideability and mental composure
Support long-term soundness

Her structural correctness and performance depth also allow for calibrated sport crosses within the broader Firedance program.

The First Corsa Legacy Pairing: Finnigan

The inaugural Corsa Legacy pairing is with Finnigan, a 17.1hh Hanoverian stallion by Floriscount (Florestan line) out of a dam by Don Schufro, with further influence from Rubinstein.

This is a modern, internationally respected dressage pedigree — combining elasticity, rideability, and proven Grand Prix influence.

Floriscount has competed successfully to Grand Prix and carries a dressage breeding value of 151.
Through Don Schufro and Rubinstein, the dam line contributes some of the most influential sporthorse blood of the last generation — known for work ethic, elasticity, and competitive longevity.

Finnigan himself:

• Licensed and fully approved (Hanoverian Verband, Westfalen, CSH)
• Winner of his 14-day test with an 8.96 dressage score
• 10.0 character / temperament
• 9.5 rideability
• Awarded the Weltmeyer Prize (2019)

Standing 17.1hh, Finnigan brings modern height, leg, and elasticity to pair with Corsa’s 17.2+ Warmblood frame and Holsteiner substance.

Corsa all’Oro x Finnigan

The objective of this cross is to preserve Corsa’s Hanoverian/Holsteiner foundation while refining elasticity, reach, and modern competitive mechanics — without sacrificing bone, scope, or mental steadiness.

It is a deliberate reinforcement of modern Warmblood architecture.

The Corsa × Finnigan cross will be produced in Spring 2026 through Select Breeder Services (Maryland).

Production remains intentionally limited and strategically managed.
